Avelyn Davee is our Host. She is a singer-songwriter who has been performing as a solo musician for over 10 years. She started in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) before moving into Filk. She writes songs about books, sci-fi, fantasy, and of course, cats. She is currently writing a cozy LitRPG fantasy book called Chaos and Capybaras (available on Royal Road and out on Amazon next year) and someday she might even make a CD. Until then you can find her on Patreon, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as @AvelynDavee and on Facebook as @AvelynDaveeWrites! https://linktr.ee/avelyndavee

RobinLeaf is a singer/songwriter who is obsessed with cats and ukuleles (but she still sometimes plays guitar). As a kid and young adult, she mostly wrote about unrequited love (and then, later, breakups), but soon found musical inspiration in medieval stories (especially about medieval women!), SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) life, fantasy books, and, obviously, cats. Like Avelyn, she started performing her music at SCA events prior to branching out into filk. She loves timed songwriting challenges and she's active in the FAWM (February Album Writing Month) songwriting community. She will also probably record an album at some point (it's just good to think about it for a few decades first LOL), but for now you can find her as @robinleaf on YouTube, Instagram, Threads, and Facebook, and @robinleaf_ on TikTok. https://linktr.ee/robinleaf

W. Randy Hoffman got into SF/F fandom in 1989, got into filk music in 1993, and has run the music program at the Confluence convention in Pittsburgh, PA, for over 30 years. He's released five albums of mostly a cappella material, has won songwriting contests at several conventions, has been nominated for a Pegasus Award three times, and was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2019. In his day jobs, he's been a business analyst, tech writer, and tech editor for U.S. federal contractors, but he'd be more than happy to edit anyone's cozy fictional opus if the rate is right. You can find him on Royal Road as "Friendly" or in the Meta-verse at https://www.facebook.com/wrandy.hoffman.

Gabrielle Gold has been singing, composing songs, and attending geeky conventions for over 20 years. She discovered the art of filking at an early 2000s Marcon in Columbus, Ohio, and has never looked back. She is a key programming staff member for the Ohio Valley Filk Festival (so many spreadsheets!), and enthusiastically participates in a yearly songwriting challenge called February Album Writing Month (FAWM). With a lot of help from her friends who actually play instruments, she released her first album in 2025, an EP titled "Creations to Unfold." Check her music out here: https://gabriellegold.bandcamp.com/

Jen Midkiff is a longtime filker and co-founder of the filk band Wild Mercy. A three-time Pegasus Award winner, she will be serving as Toastmaster for OVFF 42: Don't Panic! and GAFilk 2027. Jen's favorite reaction from listeners is "Wow, that song felt really relevant to me!". She writes songs about her favorite fandoms and characters, but also about executive function, sleeplessness, brain fog, and household pets. Check out her music at jenmidkiff.bandcamp.com!
